Chris Conner, an Idaho native, started building homes in the late 1970s as Chris Conner Construction. In 2016, Chris's son, Clayton, joined as a partner, and the family-owned construction company is now know as Conner Construction.
Clayton Conner has been working in the construction industry since the age of 12 when he started his career hauling two-by-fours and picking up trash at job sites. His love for design and construction has only grown through the years. Having received a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management with a minor in Business from Boise State University,
A legacy continues
Clayton received his Associate Constructors Certificate from the American Institute of Constructors and scored in the top 92 percentile in the nation. Currently, Clayton serves as Vice President of the Building Contractor's Association of Southwestern Idaho. He is pioneering a young professionals network to help expand the organization and advocate for responsible growth while assisting first-time home buyers to reach homeownership.
